A Note To Our Customers:

There seems to be some misunderstanding as to what we do at Lazer Works. We do not sell or manufacture kits. There is not a stockpile of kits made up stacked in some warehouse waiting for someone to order. The listing we have on our website is really for two purposes:

1.) To give an idea of what it might cost to get the parts cut from a set of plans that you are working on that may be close to the same size airplane as a previous customer may have had done.

(One ofs are welcome and are really what we do.)

2.) To show how many laser jobs we have done over the past 6 or so years, letting you see that we have the experience to do a good to better job than most.

As for the plans that we provide, to most reading our website it seems that the train of thought is that we run down to the local copy shop and have plans copied as needed. This is not so. In most cases, we get the plans the same as you from a plan service such as RCM, Nick Ziroli, Nexus, Flying Models, and Model Airplane News. In most cases it is cheaper to order them from the plan service than to go to a copy place.

Plans that are not available from plans services are generally acquired from a customer that had that short kit cut in the past. There are a lot of short kits being cut from plans that have out of date copy dates. Being in contact with a lot of customers makes us a sort of hub to access hard to find plans that someone might want or need.

Some of our listings are for airplanes that have been enlarged. These were done by the customer wanting to build a plane but was unable to find the size they wanted in that particular plane.

We are here as a service to the model building public.
