Hi All,
Got the package of parts from Eddie, and it is way too impressive! All is top rate!
After the main package arrived, I received an email from Eddie. Seems that a correction to some parts was necessary once they had worked on a kit! Well, the GREAT NEWS IS, another package arrived recently with a bunch of corrected parts. FREE OF CHARGE!
This is OUTSTANDING BUSINESS PRACTICE!
On a related subject, I recently asked if I could just get ribs from a "kit" and found out that the answer is "YES"!
I now add Eddie to the short list of people I will deal with for laser cutting.
Bottom Line: Deal with Eddie, he's good people. I know there are a couple more projects he has listed that I will be getting as soon as the budget allows!

Hi Eddie:
Received quite a nice surprise when the Fed Ex truck pulled in front of the
house & dropped off my package. 1st. of all I really didn't expect it
so soon, but the best part was when I went down to my workshop & opened
the box.
To say I was delighted would definitely be an understatement!
When I first got in touch with you, & having things explained there was
no doubt in my mind your services would take care of my needs. All I can say
is that you far exceeded anything I expected. Eddie what I received was a
kit, and after looking things over I just thought to myself that there was
no way you could could get a kit of this caliber for the price I was charged!!!!!
If by chance you have any type of catalog pertaining to the Hobby Shop by
all means let me know. In the meantime, I wish you continued success, and
will get your name in some area club Newsletter to see if I can drum up some
more business. That's about it for now Eddie.
With best regards:

Gentleman,
I can't tell you how pleased I am with the Fokker V.23 short kit you cut for me. Parts are cleanly cut and the wood selection and quality is outstanding! I was not expecting the vinyl trim sheet with the German crosses, what a bonus...and a bargain.
I hope that we can do business again in the future. I'll not hesitate to purchase from you again, and will tell the other guys in the club about your services.
Great job! Keep up the good work.
THANK YOU!

Trainermaster Review by Lyman Slack of the Vintage R/C Society.
A friend and I recently ordered short kits of the Trainermaster, the 2007 VR/CS “Model of the Year” from Action Hobbies at Laser Works http://lazer-works.com/list.html. You can order the short kit, the plans, and the canopy. Check with Action for updated package prices at actionhobbieswftx@yahoo.com.
When the big brown truck delivered the box, it looked like it had been used for airline baggage handler advanced training! Fortunately, the kit materials inside were well packaged and survived intact and in good shape!
The short kit came with rolled plans and the newly minted canopy, which is excellent. These plans bore the name of “Andrews Aircraft Model Company, a Division of Great Planes Model Manufacturing Company”. Good friend John Castronover has an original kit; we compared these plans to his from the original AAMCO kit; they are virtually identical except for some minor text changes.
The parts pack has over a dozen sheets of laser-cut parts (plus a bag of smaller ply parts such as dihedral braces). The pack was neatly arranged on a stiff piece of cardboard and then shrink-wrapped. It was noted the ribs have tabs to assure straight building. A few of the parts were checked against the plans; they are right-on! Wood quality is great. All you will need is stock strip and sheet wood, plus hardware.
As a side-bar, Charlie Reich loaned me his original AAMCO decals. They have been scanned and they, as well as the unique fuselage “Trainermaster” liver as shown on the box photos, will soon be sent to Denny out at Cajun R/C http://www.cajunrc.com/ Though not ready yet, Denny will have them available soon. By the way, when I talked to Denny, he said he remembered the Trainermaster well; seems he flew one in his first pattern contest, circa 1969. He recalled he had a Merco .49 with dual plugs up front! It looks to me that this will be a great model to have in our collection of every-day fly-for-fun models.

Hi Eddie,
The canopies arrived the day before yesterday. The new canopy looks better than the original. Thanks.
Attached are several pictures of my trainermaster from your short kit. The parts fit real well and I am satisfied with the product. The pictures are not high resolution to allow faster web transfer. I can send you a CD with higher resolution if you like. I have about 35 models that fit the vintage era as defined by the Vintage Radio Control Society.
The trainermaster has not been flown as of today. I am waiting for some favorable weather. It has been raining, damp and quite cool. Not exactly reasonable conditions for a first flight. I plan to take the model to the Spring Hill Vintage RC reunion in early March. I think you are aware the trainermaster is the VR/CS model of the year and it appears a number of them are being built.
Thanks again
